Serps Zine was born in 2005, in conjunction with the birth of The Serpents. A well-oiled independent publishing entity with a swift hand, the first release, Venom 1, was a gazette-style publication filled with Serp-related photos and features. Subsequent incarnations include perfect-bound and gaffa-taped compilations on everything from road tripping to cock fighting. The zines have become integral to The Serpents’ broader reach, providing a platform on which they can share their work with the world. Serps Zine has seen releases from many of The Serps, including Charles Prince, Daniel Moynihan, Tristan Ceddia and Christopher Day. The first 2 releases in the new Serps Zine Artist Series by Brendan Huntley and Martin Bell are avaliable now online and at selected retailers accross Australia.
